Thank you for doing the buildings in the foreground correctly.Β  Most people when applying the effect just blur it out as a straight line not taking into account the actual distance tall object are...which dictates whether they are in focus or not.Β  Just a little thing, but I think ti makes the effect that much more ...uh, effective.

its a year since this comment but I agree and I thank you for also noticing. That always bothered the hell out of me with other peoples tilt shifts

no, the effect is called "tilt shift" so that it makes big real things look small. The effect can be done with D/SLR cameras or any other camera with a detachable lens held at an angle, or in post editing.
