This piece is a color self portrait, done in water color and brush n' ink on illustration board, in the style of one of my heroes, Mike Mignola. (a better resolution copy is in the works, I have to actually photograph this one as opposed to my usual scanning)Related content

wow dude... you're effing amazing. i love the simple style of the tree, it's deceiving; it looks so involved when you take in the whole picture. very effective.

I tried my damned-est to make this picture something Mignola would be proud of if he were to ever see it for some reason, and I'm happy with the result. It's nice to know I'm not the only one hehe
