Post Crusade 2Scoot finds an artifact that may fry your brain.
This idea somehow materialized today in Geometry during a test. There's not really a point to this.
The two are supposed to be older and have cutie marks. Scootaloo goes to Apple Bloom because she specializes in art and crafting and would know if the Penrose triangle could exist in 3-D space.

I know this optical illusion, the top ends of the triangle are not connected and are facing in opposite directions, the angle makes it look like the triangle look the way it dose.

You have to think about it. Zap apple only appear once in a while. What good is a cutie mark if you can only perform the special talent occasionally? Her mark doesn't say that painting is her only muse. It can represent other arts (such as culinary) at a much lesser extent.
As to Scoot's mark, it later appears in other comics. It's a flaming scooter wheel. I didn't do dancing because... um... I don't know.

So that suggests... what?... that Scootaloo's talent is some kind of daredevil?
There are many on here who have pictured her as becoming a junior grade Thunderbolt being trained by Rainbow Dash and Spitfire.
Who knows what their ACTUAL cutie marks are going to be, though.

I see those interpretations all the time. It's not that I disagree with them, it's just that I wanted to try something sickeningly differentc
PART OF THE STORY
It's implied that Scoot might be a daredevil-ish type. But after a series of events (namely the sisterhood adoption saga, being diagnosed with a flying disorder, and hormones), she begins to soften. The result is what you're seeing here and in other comics: a more cautious and worrisome Scootaloo.
This may look like something I typed up while smoking some serious grass, but hey! It's not canon! Just a twisted fan-future. Deal with it.
And who knows what canon might reveal? They owe us a Scootaloo episode, so we'll just have to wait.
