Probably more like 2000 in Ponyville alone, and more thousands if you incluse Canterlot. Manehatten could have been prepared for and the cameras placed where they knew Applejack would be, which frees up a couple tens of thousands of cameras. If you count the Everfree and the land between it and Ponyville, it grows by two or three thousand more, though that would be hard to hide and maintain.
