Chisel (like the tool) is part of the same demon race that Marcel belongs to
-He's 199 years old and likes to say that he's not exactly centuries old yet ; P
-Chisel is more like a nickname because of his fighting style -- he's not super strong but rather chips and chisels away at his enemy, basically out-enduring them until he can achieve the finishing blow (usually through the brain or heart)
-Is a mercenary; he used to be a bad, destructive demon, but has recently changed his ways (he was bored) and now works for whoever wants to get rid of baddies as long as he's paid
-Because he's trying to be a good demon, he refrains from taking souls unless he's given permission (even though he's still kind of bad because he likes to trick people into giving him their soul). But he never takes all of the soul, just part of it.
-Is proud of not being in a contract with anyone
-Unlike other demons of his race, he doesn't have high demonic energy potential. This is because he actually did make a contract a long time ago and forgot about it. That contract gave the mortal his demon energy (except for the ability to float), and to cope with the sudden loss, his body boosted his five senses instead. Because of this he is often able to detect and avoid an attack before it hits him.
-He stole his weapon from someone he killed a while ago
-He's bow-legged
