If you're in to Batman, then you might enjoy some of the graphic novels. There are a couple that are done very well.
Here's a few of them, just incase you want to check them out at some point.

actually, I think that the bang gun is from the part where Robin kills the joker using that. You have to fire the gun twice though...fire once, the flag pops out, fire again, the flag is shot out of the gun and into your target :3

It's an excellent series, especially considering the way they animated it; using black paper as the medium instead of white made for a very dark and unique show.
