Description
First actual layout in a while. It looks as pictured in my mind, so I'm pretty happy I executed it correctly! View it live here . The bar + text/links at the bottom are all fixed.I recently returned to Neo & got sushicat1__20 unfrozen. I don't plan on getting back into it, but I'm just gonna pop in once in a while, especially to chat with my very few friends who are still there (like 2). I'm also gonna code when I feel like it, of course; thus, this layout! I know no one's gonna read it but it's a nice place to keep track of my stuff. I'd like to hear your thoughts and opinions ^^
Also, who is still out there? Any news on the site-making community? Let me know what you've been up to ;u;

I joined a guild in which I talk from time to time but nothing too crazy. I log in every day for dailies and that's it, haha. I'm into other games now. I was considering opening a lookup request site now that the capcha is gone but I'm not too sure. What about you?

Well opening a lookup site would be good for practice. You can update it once in a while so you won't get rusty with your skills (: I actually saw Cam taking requests on the HC for that reason.
I've been wanting to rebuild (I miss my pretty pets and NC lol), but it honestly isn't worth the time, and I was quite fickle with my stuff anyway haha. I dunno, currently I've just been lurking, chatting, and making some NP. Apparently it's hard to trade pets and NC nowadays, so that's a downer.

PC games! Overwatch, Minecraft, Sims. I just play with friends (like the owners of Silent Serenity) there's not much to do on neo. I've been permanent silenced for nearly 3 years now and it's just it's not the same. Summer is supposed to be a busy time for the site but it seems it's all the opposite lol I've been accepting requests when random people message me asking for them haha. I'm going to wait until TNT releases new autumn items so maybe I could use a new background for a layout! I also love NC but, you know, I only get some during the season.

what account do you use to chat on neo, then? I don't understand why TNT doesn't reply to tickets; they're losing players, plus, i'm sure they've hired some new staff. And yeah the site-making community is virtually dead. It's so hard to find an updated directory and I have to ask people if I need links to a page 
There hasn't been an MME since January, but otherwise, I haven't been very updated on NC haha. I still like the older items such as Pink Peony Field Background and CBG (+ the bunch of others that're out of reach). do you have any inspiration to work on pets/pages?

Sosuleaf. They do reply my tickets but we get nowhere. They keep saying how it's been forever and that they lost the records, and when I show them previous tickets they said they can't do it. It's always the same staff member, though. That girl Alice W. There are so many sites but I have no idea which ones are still being regularly updated. Now that the Capcha is gone (at last lol) I guess it makes the site more enjoyable.
I wanted to do a Fall themed page for the site spotlight but it seems it's not coming back lol Since I own Fall it'd be the perfect petpage to host it on (like talk about items, post other people's pet outfits, my NT articles, etc) I don't develop characters because English is a second language and it's just hard to fully get that character vibe when writing. I can write but nothing too fancy lol The only thing I recently did was writing articles for the NT. I'm still doing my autumn articles where I just describe my top 5 favorite items in each category and they got accepted! I also submitted a comic for the issue 750 like 3 weeks ago in hopes it gets in haha.

aw, that sucks, Sosu. especially if you have the proof. I got perma'd on another account for saying "pokeballs" (wasn't trying to get around the filter), so yeah I feel your frustration. Is there anything on that account you can't move over to a different one? I saw in the editorial that CAPTCHAs were permanent, but I guess not o: For now, at least.
I think it would still be a nice page even without the site spotlight, though! I for one would enjoy looking at it ^__^ It'd be aesthetically appealing for sure haha. I'm glad Fall being UFA wasn't just a hoax. Are you allowed to reserve things to be submitted to the 750th issue? I haven't written anything for the NT since last year and was gonna wait a few weeks to try for the avvie ^^

I can't really move much besides nps. All my gallery is 90% NC and all my four sides have all pets too so I can't really move them.
I'm glad it wasn't a hoax either. I had been following the former owner for 3 years as he would come, make a board and then bail on everyone. The third time was the lucky one, though! I think we are allowed but only for this kind of issue. They know people try to get in for the avatar, so it's recommended to submit them in advance.

I got to play it before it was officially launched. I can't use my phone in the UK so I could only use it in my house while the wifi still works lol There's an Eevee and Rattata spawns right here. Other than that I haven't been able to go out and enjoy it but my gf has and it's kind of cool.
The former owner neomailed me as he remembered me from the few times I chatted with him in his boards. He seemed eager to find me he even mailed my girlfriend. I was asleep at the time but glad I caught him!
I have no idea how they manage all the entries for the specific issues (~00,~50 ones) but I do notice you get twice the content for them. CQ always said it's better if you do it with some time in advance. I did it with two months in advance because last time they didn't get in due to the amount of entries they got ):

haha I remembered when I waited a while for Pokemon Go, but it's pretty different from the main games. I haven't even downloaded the app. Honestly I prefer the Wii/DS versions but even so I haven't played them in months, maybe a year lol
ohh so chatting really does help. I've seen a lot of quitting boards where it's obvious when people kiss up ew :/ I know you're an honest person though lol, your conversations are genuine.
2 months in advance is a long time, it's definitely late now. My friend actually got the av but then she switched mains and hasn't gotten it again yet D: Another sucky thing about retired/annual avs but I guess that's what makes collecting more fun and challenging.

I think this guy knew I was going to keep the pet. Back 3 years before I adopted it he made his first board and I showed him a quick petpage of the autumn related stuff I had (pretty much all my accounts, pets, NT entries, layouts, etc) He didn't say anything but he was shocked. Then he disappears. A year later another board, same old story and he bails again. The third time I see people recognizing me for being the "leaf dude" lol Due to all my fonts and stuff and they were encouraging him to contact me and that's how he did it. I guess he wanted to get rid of the pet for once and well, I was there.
I got the NT one I just want the weewoo to be over with it.

There are actually sites where you can play the Pokemon games online. They're emulators (: I actually have a file saved for one but haven't played that in months either bc I usually do other stuff when I get on my laptop.
ohh that's good then, not much use of a good RW like Fall to be rotting on his account if he keeps disappearing. I actually had a dream last night where Lost and Pound listed a TON of great RW's/RN's in the pound and I was surprised no one adopted them. I filled up my main + side with ones I liked and when I disappeared for a few minutes they were all adopted, so I guess it was a purge. lol why am I dreaming about neo, I haven't even done anything besides reply to mails + Trudy's these past few days
Oh yeah she had the NT one too but I was talking about the Weewoo one ^^ She's not that active nowadays though (even being one of those people with lots of NC) so I don't think she'll get it on her new main anytime soon.

Oh emulators yeah! I played one of those years ago! When neopets gets to your dreams... 0: -) We're all just wishing they'd fix a lot of stuff so those thoughts seem to be more like dreams now. Like keyquest and other aspects of the site that are down now.

I'm not sure if I said this before (sometimes I reply to my messages all at once so it gets muddled up haha), but I don't think I'm gonna try to get back into Neo anymore. I'll still chat with my friends and zap pets, but I don't even do dailies anymore, besides Forgotten Shore and Trudy's + Symol (bc I still need that avvie). Neo just got boring after a few weeks of returning.
It really sucks without KQ, but if people were still active it'd be a lot less boring. It might be harder to make NP but at least you can chat and never be lonely.

I don't think I'll quit neo but I'll just log in daily for the dailies and remind myself I still need the NQ avatars lol Oh and just stalk the possible new NC autumn items but that's it for me I suppose. Unless they make a plot or an event? I played on the AC this year and that was fun while it lasted haha.

I still need other "daily" avatars like those two Skeith kings, but those'll probably take forever lol. Too bad the Charity Corner avs are retired, those would've been easier ;-; haha I gave my friend a pea when I quit and she got lent SUAP sometime, which I still need. Though people with the item probably aren't as active anymore. I'm not gonna invest in NC anymore so I guess I'll get by with what I have xD Plus apparently there's glitches with buying some. honestly, what was the last plot? The one I remember clearly was Faeries' Ruin. AC takes a lot of effort and my fingers hurt xD

Definitely! I think it'd be easier if you get the pea first and then you look for it. As a former suap lender, it'd much prefer if potential lendees have the pea ready haha.

I lost it when I was unfairly frozen last year. A "friend" was caught buying UC pets offsite and she blamed me like she literally listed my name and accounts on her ticket. Her former ex best friend sent me proof and screenshots and my pea was on my other account sosudude, not sure if you remember it. I lsot it with all my autumn stuff and pets ): TNT never answers when I send them a ticket with her ticket attached.

ugh really? that's awful! your "friend" is going to get karma for that if she hasn't already :/ that was good of her ex-friend to do though, because I wouldn't want to be friends with someone who buys neopets and then blames it on others, either. I never publicly lent but I was more like the suap lender lurker lol the "secret lender" I guess they call it.
I had 4 draiks (like all my pets) but they were my BD pets, super strong ones and had my best NC. You can check the gallery and see it ): Though I got all the nc autumn items back so i'm good but I was never able to get the NP ones.

yeah peas were great trading fodder! i've had 2 or 3 before i think haha. i honestly don't remember how i got them (i think one was a usuki custom which was a great deal, around 800-900k), but i did get nice stuff with them (◠_◠✿)
hm do you know if she made any other new accounts? and did she have some sort of grudge against you (if you remember anything you might've done to her that was a misunderstanding)
aww though wouldn't it be harder to get the NC items back since they're always inflating? or were those NP ones just those really rare things from item codes and such? and BD pets take forever to train, i'm sorry they're gone ;.; those draiks you had were back when they were expensive right?

Someone told me she had one (probably bought it offsite) but with a different identity so I wouldn't know lol I only know she lost her friends over what she did to me. She was a very close friend I met years ago in a guild and when she came back we reconnected and made friends with other people. She got mad I didn't put her in council in a guild I was running lol I guess she never got over it.
The NPs items aren't that bad but some of them cost millions. I remember spending nearly 10mil in all those items. The NC ones aren't that bad except for some (like golden outdoor) or others that are in the range of 5-10 caps. Yeah at the time those draiks were so expensive ): And they were my BD pets which I regret transferring at the time. I was like "let's have them together" lol bad idea.

10M is quite expensive but definitely isn't as expensive as say, items that were 5M each lol. were you one of those people who secretly had millions in the bank?

I don't and I don't plan to know tbh I mean I moved on and while it affected me it's just in the past now. Yeah like luckily I get to spend $10 on neocash every Fall season but THAT'S IT I'm not going to monetarily support a site that is dying anyways lol She could've and it's not like I needed council anyways because you know I'm capable of running pages, coding and doing it I just needed people to be around and do the minimal work lol it wasn't a dealbreaker.
I only had millions before buying the suap I have less than 30mil now but that's only thanks to Trudy and random stuff I get and later sell. I don't play flash games anymore, I don't restock, I just collect interest and that's it.
I loooove draiks and the price drop was never a problem to me. I love how they look and how you can customise them! I'm waiting for their day (September 9th I think) and see the new colors. I've been keeping a FFQ for like a year haha. I've never trained or tried to train any other pet once I lost my bd pet. I wasn't into training but since my pet got so much from dailies I decided to do it like once a day to even the numbers.

I used to play Egg Cave BUT IT WAS SO ADDICTING and I had to quit haha, not gonna go back there again.
before you bought the suap, how did you get to 100m? was it restocking? when KQ was still around I could earn a little over 100k a day, that wasn't much to some people, but it was enough for me haha. and none of my friends were good NP-earners. They were better with NC, so it was great since I could gift them all their NP stuff ^^
Aishas are my favorite to customize but a pro Draiks have and Aishas don't is their bipedal quality. I hope they come out with something good this year! There are so many nice Draik colors like Faerie and Royal. Even ones that have limited customization options, such as Baby and Maraquan, still look good! oh goodness did you see that new mutant nimmo color
I used to have a BD pet. not super high stats, but good enough for stuff like Defenders of Neopia and fighting those opponents in the BD to win codestones. I gave him away though and they never fixed Defenders of Neopia; I still need that trophy :I and also some of those battleground themes.

I used to do that too but I learned it wasn't worth it, specially over an online site. Hope you manage the same as it's just healthy for oneself (: I remember when you mentioned egg cave at some point! I joined Subeta a few years ago but I don't play. Though I love the harvest paint brush they have it's just beautiful lol I also tried Verpets once but nothing I could get attached too.
Back in 2008 a friend quit neo and to my surprise she sent me some stuff, among that stuff there was a Virtupets stamp that I sold for nearly 500mil lol At the time I wasn't even interested in stamp collecting so yeah. I would also play KQ like you which was GREAT! I hope they fix it.
Aishas are so popular but I realized they are fantastic to customise as well, like any wig or dress look good on them lol And I saw the nimmo HAHAHA It's great. A bit chubby but I loooove the color combination. I need to check and see what colors draiks are missing. I think elderly on top of my head?

yep, i've learned better! bah neopets earned me a lot of anxiety and stress, when it was supposed to be relaxing. well i'm not gonna let that happen to me anymore lol, those people can go do something else. So many people like Subeta, but I never got into it. I thought the Glade pets were cute though ^^ there was this site called Valley of Unicorns which had nice art and a nice interface, but I quit since it wasn't super fun or anything. There's this lovely place called Mycena Cave but I think it's more fun there if you're an artist haha.
ah it'd be great to have a nice stamp like that, but i'm not a stamp collector either + 500M is a lot lol. I'm glad I also got the lab map from KQ before it ended, I think I got 2 of the piece #1, which was great since I didn't have to go buy it myself. That's one of the 5 dailies I still log on to do haha.
I much prefer white Aishas over white Kacheeks, since Kacheeks make some dresses look fat. but both the plushie Aisha + Kacheek are rlly cute;; you're right, no elderly ones yet. no 8-bit, polka dot, or invisible either.

Neo seems to have gotten stuck in like 1999 lol Everything's just the same, broken or doesn't work properly. I wish they'd update to this times where you can do more than just friendly talk, I mean it's ridiculous we can't share things like our facebook when they have the FB linking thing. Or that we're not as free to talk as we're supposed to.
500mil was a lot at the time and I thought it was just too much to have so I needed to buy something. At the time I was like "I may not have nps now but I have suap" lol later the dupping thing took place and suap's value went down to like 70mil or something and people won't risk buying them because they can be dupped. RIP my suap haha!

When was your first year on neo? Mine definitely wasn't 1999 haha, I think I played some games in 2005/2006 but came back in 2010 to make an actual account. I could understand why they got rid of the general chat though since they want it to be a safe environment. Obviously people get around, though, and neo can't be 100% kid-friendly on the boards. But it does kind of help weed out trolls looking for trouble.
hahaha I still find 500M a lot, especially now that the site is broken down. That would've been nice interest. I never post on the bragging/gift boards, especially nowadays, since you can be easily targeted. Plus, I randomly gifted others before and they didn't say thank you :K So many people are getting frozen yet there's a #humblebragging board on the PC lmao
I feel like all the nice Draik colors have come out, though. I mean, I like colors such as baby, royal, faerie, etc., so I don't really pay attention to the others, like polka dot xD

Definitely a target! But then again, can people still scam or hack knowing how the site's state currently is? Like it's even worth it? lol It's just it sounds so stupid it's not like neo it's at it's peek best time. I've owned 2 of my most wanted UC pets which is the faerie tuskaninny. Can you believe I was gifted both but BOTH were illegit pets? Like I didn't get frozen for owning them but TNT mailed me saying they took them out of my accounts because they weren't "originally" mine when like I've had them for MONTHS. I'd love to get one again but those are so so so hard to trade for.

I guess they think no one would figure it out since the site is quite inactive. even if no one else gets to see your pets, you can still see them yourself + trade with other people, so that may be a reason o: Oh, I remember you had a faerie Tuskaninny! Whoever gave me the faerie tuska, it wasn't theirs. I don't know if they stole it or what but TNT notified me via neomail they took the pet to the original owner, but then when you see the petlookup it says the owner is frozen.

I got a VWN UC RG Cy from the pound last month and reported it to see if it was legit, but it got returned to its owner. The owner is still frozen so I'm not sure if she's active or not :/
