I live in the American Midwest, I've had that feeling many times...even now because it's summer and it's freaking hot out! By the way nice job, this is gonna sound weird but I really like how you did the ears on her.

It's not a nice feeling! I grew up next to the beach, like you-could-hear-the-water-from-our-house close. Not living right near the beach now is a real struggle (I live in Sydney but honestly the closest beach is still half an hour away so it's still a bit of a pain to get to).
