Hey hey hey, it's my other Monster High OC! With a pretty OC sheet of her own!This one isn't as obvious as Michaela... unless you kids happen to be My Chemical Romance fans. Even then it's probably not as funny a joke as Michaela's story.
This one took me less time since I already had Michaela's sheet all done - I just had to change a few things here and there.
Again, these aren't the most original OCs out there, but I'm not exactly the most original artist out there either. And I like these as it is.
...Gerardine really isn't a fan of Draculaura, lol. It's not so much Draculaura herself - it's more that Gerardine, being a proud bloodsucker, can't understand why a vampire wouldn't drink blood. She thinks it's unnatural. So she tends to look on Draculaura with a fair degree of contempt. Gerardine doesn't even know Draculaura that well.

Do you think her Dawn of the Dance dress should resemble the one from Michael Jackson's girl from Blood on the Dance Floor? After all she is a vampire.

Considering the black and red theme, that would be a great idea - her date (if I make one for her lol) could be wearing MJ's outfit. But even so, I was hoping to keep the MJ theme to just Michaela.
For Gerardine I'd probably stick her in a Helena-esque dress and have her date dress up as Gerard from the video.

Yes! another blood lover! My OC Lalya loves that kind of food too, only sheΒ΄s not a vampire but a chupacabras, but blood is blood XD

She doesn't seem half bad. A lot of her is super blood focused and the part thats not blood is music. I wish we could see a little more of the non bloodlust influenced side. Although, if she doesn't know Draculaura that well, why is the girl even mentioned in her profile? Just something I noticed. It's nice having more vampires that actually like blood. Between Twilight and Draculaura actual vampires and what they are supposed to be are a dying concept sadly.

Well, the idea is that she's a bit of an opposite of Draculaura. Draculaura's page goes on and on about her veganism - so Gerardine's page goes on about her bloodlust.
Also, her life kind of revolves around blood - that's the idea of the character. Hence, her personality is very much based on it.
Draculaura is mentioned because even though they don't know each other personally, Gerardine knows of her well enough to know she's vegan and to be thoroughly disdainful of that fact. I don't know - if they got to know each other, they could be quite good friends 
Thank you! I like the idea of proper vampires - scary ones, like in Fright Night and such =] hopefully the current disenchantment with Twilight-esque vampires will bring about "true" vampires in media and fiction.

I'm hoping that disenchantment happens sooner rather than later. It's sad cuz sometimes trying something new with an old concept can be amazing. making it sparkle though.... not always a good idea.
I could see them not really getting a chance to connect over the food thing. Usually it's harder for people with different life philsophies to truly get along like that. Harder for them to understand each other atleast.

Hehe, same. It's nice to reinvent old legends and such, but I think Miss Meyer took it a bit far with the sparkling thing. It was certainly inventive, but I think vampires have a bit more to them than just being sparkly xD
That's true, however I could imagine a strange sort of friendship evolving from that same difference in life philosophy. Beginning with a food fight or argument, of course!

I was tempted to put Geraldine as a subtle joke to myself about The Vicar Of Dibley, but I figured it would be better to stay true to the character and her origin xD She's based on the lead singer of My Chemical Romance, who's name is Gerard, so that's why her name is a little weird

Lol, no problem! I did think it was a little ridiculous for a vampire to be a vegan. Being a vampire afraid of blood is funny. Being a vampire CHOOSING NOT TO DRINK BLOOD BECAUSE THAT'S FASHIONABLE is just ridiculous.

I don't use a MH style, mainly because I find it hard to break out of my own style. But I did take inspiration from it in my own OCs, and I hope it paid off.
That would be great! I don't really know how to make my OCs friends with other OCs though

lol. Some people just ask 'can our ocs be friends' but some people like to rp it out and see how they would interact to see if they would be friends or enemies or something. Seems a bit more genuine the second way to me. Sometimes unlikely people get along but a lot of ppl ask if ppl can be friends simply because they know teh person irl or because the art is pretty. Not as many think about the actual chemistry between the characters. Still, sometimes asking for rps and stuff seems awkward to me. I'm not very good at it lol. I hope you have fun with Gerardine. It's a nice name btw
