Title taken from the song I Need A Doctor by Dr. Dre and Eminem. Dunno about you guys, but I freaking love that song.
And I personally think it applies pretty well to Show Pony and his relationship with Dr Death Defying.
Show Pony's like Eminem in the song, and Dr. D is like Dr. Dre. Dr. D (I assume) gave Show Pony a home, a job, a livelihood. Show Pony's like his sidekick.
What would Show Pony do without Dr. D, really? He depends on him. But in a way, Dr. D depends on Show Pony too. They need each other.

This is an image of a scenario I thought up where Dr. D is taken away by BL/ind, and Show Pony comes back to a deserted radio station, raided, cleaned out and censored by BL/i authorities, and his friend and mentor gone. Everything he cares about has been taken away. Now it's up to him to figure out what to do. He's no longer following orders - now he has to take the lead and rescue his friend.

Holy crap, that was maybe a little too deep.

The scene is pretty well deserted for two reasons.
One, I wanted the general feel of the image to be dark, desolate. I wanted to focus on Show Pony more. I wanted to keep the whole thing reasonably simple, not too busy.
...That and I'm a lazy shit that doesn't know how to draw a proper raid scene with broken shit lying around and whatnot.

Also, I don't know if you noticed, but in case it wasn't obvious, Show Pony's shadow is supposed to look suspiciously like a silhouette of Dr. D. Cause I'm so deep and all that jazz.

Oh, and one more thing. I know it doesn't look much like Show Pony. I did have a proper paper/pencil sketch of this, but I left it in Australia and forgot to scan it before leaving, so I had to start from scratch. On Photoshop. Tracing over my original model, whose face is shaped differently to Ricky Rebel's (cause I can't sketch properly on Photoshop for shit). So no matter how hard I tried (and believe me I tried), I couldn't fix the face to look more girlish and pretty, like Ricky's face, without losing all the drama and seriousness of the scene (since by nature neither Show Pony nor Ricky Rebel are particularly serious-looking people). It was annoying. I tried to nail his epic muscular structure, though, to make up for it

Oh, and the little white spots everywhere are meant to be dust motes. Just so you know.

So... I hope I nailed a different side of Show Pony's character. A different perspective of him, if you will

Aaaand.. I think I covered everything that needs to be covered. So.. enjoy the pretty picture!
