So, a week or so ago, I hit upon these types of dolls by Mattel called "Monster High" dolls.
Now, I know should have grown out of barbies by now, but these dolls are pretty awesome. The idea behind them is really clever, and the dolls themselves are pretty cute. If I ever have kids (major 'if' there), I'd definitely give them these dolls.
"Don't you mean 'daughters', not kids?" you may ask. No, I mean kids. That's right, if I had a son I've give him these dolls anyway. Whatever.

So, back to the point, I was so in love with these dolls I got inspired to create Monster High inspired characters of my own.

Most people try to make up totally new monsters, and while that's great and some other people's ideas are seriously clever, I don't have that level of imagination right now.
So instead, I trawled through my iTunes library and came up with reasonably well-known bands/singers that have had monsters featured in their music or videos, for a bit of humour.

Hence - a zombie girl inspired by Michael Jackson (my personal favourite), and a vampire inspired by My Chemical Romance (not as obvious, but I took a lot of Gerard Way's fashion from their Three Cheers era and applied it to this girl).

Oh yeah! And I even drew the background myself this time! ^_^ man, those stained-glass windows are crappy. I may go back and redo them at some point. Ehmenehemeneh.

I need to get a life, I know.

I designed a couple others, but I couldn't be bothered finishing them right now. I might later, though.

So yeah! Enjoy! And I know it's been so long since I last uploaded anything, I just haven't had the time/motivation to finish anything lately.
