Heck, I did it before, but now I have the tools and the skills to be able to relatively easily spawn a short few seconds of sketchy animation a day. As with daily sketches, I am certain I will only get faster and better, and I will get familiar with opentoonz, enabling me to do tutorials and create proper animations, and much more.

The simplicity thing was sarcastically said since I started with a plan of a rotating cube that maybe comes to life and bounces off... but it only escalated from there xD
The way you phrased your sentences makes me feel you are my long time rival and I have just tried to one up you, yet I don't quite remember you
As for it being a daily sketch, I have been doing them for... over 5 months now. And there were animations for daily sketches before, but now I will do them every day since I think I reached the point where I can draw quickly reliably (this took me an hour or so).
I don't get the envy, it's not like I didn't spend a lot of time practicing to reach this point. I am probably practicing way too much recently... to the point I spend most of my free time drawing, even if my free time is also very limited already...
But it's fun! You can be envious of me having fun

Nope, not rival, I just look at your gallery sometimes, and didn't know you are this fast.
I know it's hard work and lots of practise that gets you to to your level, so don't get me wrong, I do look up to you!
Envy is “just” my impatience acting up. I have waaay more practise before me to do animations. (Today I got stuck on the 2nd keyframe... I know, I should just practise.)

But don't worry, I mean it in a positive way: I'm amazed at your sketch → I want to be able to do it too → since I want it, I have to do something with my impatience and concentrate on practising.
That's what “envy” means to me.

Just keep it up and as cheesy as it sounds, "Never give up", and it will all be worth it.
So you are one of my unofficial watchers, then? I noticed there are a few people that favorite a bunch of my stuff and comment here and there but are not actual watchers. I wonder how many there are, now that you confirmed my suspicion of existence of such a group.
And for general animation practice, start small, start stick figures or basic shapes, until you can get the feel of the 4 dimensional space. Don't bother with complex shapes until later, it will just slow your learning down.

Yes, I do unofficial watches, so probably others do it too.

I usually watch people officially whom I can work with now, or I think we can work together in the near future. For e.g. people who let me use their photos for drawing practise. And I watch inspirational people unofficially, so I can keep track of who is who.
Well, I might will figure out a better way to keep things organized, but this is my system for now.
