Description
I'm breaking from "the flow" by posting up the villain of Space Wars instead of the second half of the heroes cast.Tis Darcon Aurelius. The main villain, but he has some subordinates who will also be drawn. . . Later.
Darcon hails from the planet of Tandar, although Aurelius is a Torvinian clan/surname.
Tandar is one of two inhabited planets in the Tanvin Solar System. Long before the Insectoid Empire made its move on the galaxy, a fleet of reptilian settlers arrived, seeking refuge from their own star, which had begin its descent into a supernova. The fleet split into two and each settled on of the two habitable planets. By the time the Insectoid Empire arrived at their planets, both groups were clearly distinguishable; the Tandarians were lean and limber in physique and their fighting centred on agility and finesse, the Torvinians were the opposite. But they shared similar tribal-based societies.
The initial invasion of Tandar was a success but crossbreeding with the native reptilian species resulted in insane, savage and uncontrollable offspring. Frightened by the hybrids ferocity, the Insectoids pulled out, leaving the Tandarians to their fate. The Tandarians were successful in repelling repeated Razorclaw attacks. The Razorclaws retreated into the wilderness and began breeding so that they too became one of the resident species of Tandar. The Tandarians lived on as normal, but they now had a new coming-of-age ritual for their young sons. To prove themselves worthy of being considered adults, young males left home to track down, fight and kill a Razorclaw, bringing home its corpse as proof. This practise changed when a Razorclaw faked its death and was taken back to a Tandarian household alive. Upon awakening its behaviour had changed, displaying fierce loyalty to its new master, which indicated that Razorclaws had a primitive form of their own intelligence.
The Tandarians had progressed from their tribal based society and had developed medicines and technology. Although they still kept some of their old traditions. They still had the coming-of-age ritual, and leaders won their positions through non-lethal matches. Then the sickness came. It struck them down without warning. Their scientists worked night and day to find a cure to the savage virus that killed all it infected, but by the time a cure was found, the Tandarian race had been crippled beyond recovery. The few survivors were sterile and weak; their bones broke easily, wounds wouldn't heal and their immune system had been wiped out. Unhatched, Darcon was saved from the virus, but his parents feared they wouldn't last long enough to raise him to adulthood so they put his egg, a few of their belongings, a holographic recording and a batch of the immunisation into a ship and sent him to the neighbouring planet, Torvin, where he was found and raised by the Aurelius clan.
This has left him with a few issues. He's grateful to his adoptive parents, but he feels out of place on Torvin and unfulfilled.
His galaxy domination is fueled by an underlying desire to fill the gaping hole in his heart/soul/both and to establish a sense of identiy, although his conscious reasons are to unite the planets as they once were, fueled again by a subconscious desire to prevent what occured on his home planet from happening to other planets.
He just needs some love.
I changed his outfit to fit more with the 'tribal' thing his planets have going on, but inluded a nod to the "uniform" thing in his trousers, which have a red stripe on the inside and outside, just to stop people from thinging there are tears in them an it's his scales. Gasp! It's the return of. . . The Coat. Sleeved version this time.
Looks like I forgot to colour his Torvinian Grech Bird, Falcon. She's grey, her wings and tail. . . thing are white and her horns and beak are black. Not much to say about her, but she's like Diablo to Maleficent, or the falcon to Shan Yu. That sort of thing. Not her actual size, she's small enough to perch on his shoulder without trouble.

Now that guy has had a serious he-looks-awesome-now thing done to him. When's the last time you drew him?
Hmmmm... solar system... If you need some sort of Celestia version of it, I'll be able to make it.

I had something weird in mind for this solar system; that Torvin and Tandar occupy the same orbit. . . but I don't know if that's possible.

It's very possible. They could be in the Lagrangian points.
