Description
And one more Lantern Meme of my own, dedicated to one of my favorite RPG games of all time; Mass Effect.Red Lantern Javik: Javik has a deep hatred and anger toward the Reapers for wiping out his people. And as the avatar of vengeance for his people, he demands that the Reapers die for what they did. Even though he seems calm and collected, he's got a lot of rage in his heart. However, unlike so many, his rage is focused and controlled and not wild and irrational. With that in mind, Javik would make for a deadly Red Lantern; focusing his rage, but not letting it completely consume him.
Orange Lantern Kasumi: She's a girl with a pension for kleptomania. If she found one of these rings, she'd stealΒ it in a heartbeat. Now with the orange ring, she'd go from a slight case of kleptomania, to a SEVERE case of it. She'd end up stealing everything in sight. All would be hers in the end, if she has anything to say about it.
Yellow Lantern Aria T'Loak: "This universe has no designated ruler and only one rule...Don't fuck with Aria!" Very few who have crossed Aria T'Loak have com out alive. Even if they did, they are forever changed, learning that Aria is a force to be feared. Even a Krogan learned that lesson, and they don't frighten easily. Even Garrus gave this woman her space while he was ruining so many mercenary days on Omega.
Green Lantern Garrus: Speaking of Garrus, here he is as an honorary Green Lantern. I could write a whole essay on why he gets this honor, but I'll just say this. He might play outside of the rules form time to time, but his heart is in the right place. He wants to fight injustice and make criminals pay for their crimes. As an ex C-Sec agent, he still carries a level of decency and morality to him so that he doesn't become like the criminals he swears to fight. He even took a rocket practically to the face...And he's still kicking. Garrus does not give up, not when there is a galaxy to save.
Blue Lantern Eve: Eve is not her real name, but she surrendered that when she became a shaman and a beacon of hope to her people. She endured the loss of her first born and surviving underground for 8 days with only a small crystal to chisel her way out. It was her faith that drove her to believe that Maelon could cure them of the Genophage. After the Genophage was cured, she continued to spread the hope that this gift brought, promising that no matter what, she would not let this second chance be wasted. The fact that she can sway bloodthirsty male Krogan says a lot about her strength of spirit. Indeed, Eve can inspire great hope, even to the most hateful of Krogan.
Indigo Lantern Mordin Solus: This Salarian has made many sacrifices in his life, some of which would drive many to become bitter and heartless monsters. Mordin even updated the Genophage, keeping the Krogan population in check. He was, as Shepard said, "the doctor that killed millions." He did not do this lightly, and was instrumental in curing the Genophage, showing great compassion to the Krogan people, a race that many other Salarians look down on as barbaric. Indigo Lanterns may be the embodiments of compassion, but that does not mean they are all pacifists. He is a doctor that believes in helping people, but that can come in many forms. Sometimes he heals sick patients for free, and then kill a dangerous criminal without a second thought...Either way helps.
Star Sapphire EDI: As an AI, EDI has the capacity to learn, grow, and evolve, just like any organic being. She wants to learn the value of emotions, even if she does not understand them fully. They are unknown quantities with no specific outcome. Yet she still pursues them. This eventually led her to actually fall in love with Joker, the Normandy's pilot. I know...It's ironic that a machine should receive a Star Sapphire Power Ring, but in the end, it is not the form of life it chooses...It is the capacity of that life to feel love for another.
White Lantern Rachni Queen: The Rachni are so alien that it is almost impossible to understand their way of communication. However, the Queen keeps talking of "singing" as some sort of communication. This could be seen as some kind of telepathy, but this goes beyond just her own people. By "plucking the strings" of another's mind, the Queen can speak through them. Her insight into others seems to allow her to see the very flow of life within a person, and thus the white energy would not be so alien to her. "We will sing the songs of life to our children."
Black Lantern Saren Arterius: He died at the end of Mass Effect 1, and left a huge mark on the galaxy. Saren would be a formidable Black Lantern for Nekron's army, as his very presence would cause many to simply give up and accept their fate.

And that is why Mordin Solas is a Bad ASS!!! not just the fact that he sacrificed himself to save the Krogan (all my playthroughs). Β Only downer is they couldn't stop Shep from being indoctrinated.
