IT BEGINS ONCE AGAIN. SORTA. ALMOST. Due to my art block I haven't had much inspiration to work on my comic ; O ;But it's been soooo long so I didn't want to wait until I had the whole chapter done. Soo here's the first page!

Hey is there a special program you use to make your comic pages? And what's the process you go through to make each cell?
i've always wanted to make a comic of my own but I suck at it and don't know where to begin!!

I don't use a special program for it, I just use FireAlpaca! c':
When making them I usually start with a basic sketch that will end up having TONS of adjustments until the final product and I actually end up doing about 3 layers of sketches until I'm satisfied (adding more details as I go) ! This was the first sketch layer for this page u v u : Comic Sketch
Usually I start with lining, then I color in all of the background, then color in the speech bubbles, and then I color in the characters. I usually do shading last which I apply to the background and characters only~! u v u Like for this I put a bunch of different colors including grey, green, blue, ect in very low opacities over everything to get the exact colors that I wanted in the scene!

Also if you're going to start a comic you should usually know where it's going if you're going to have a certain amount of chapters! With mine I never really know when it's going to end because I wanted it to be very open and just about Sanho's life in my characters' world. But in this certain section the goal is to get Majo's herbs and potions back from the rival crew!!
Like for Chapter 2 I made this: Chapter 2 - Comic Ideas So I had an exact outline! ; v ;

When I try to write comics I usually write out a script first and then do what most people do which is draw small thumbnails of the scene for a cell. Usually when I get to this point, I give up because I suck at drawing scenes.
and thanks for all the info, it's useful!! I hope to make a short story someday in the form of a comic or "graphic novel" type thing, but sell it like a zine?? Idk. I'd make a couple if I could, a series in fact. I just need a good story line and more practice with drawing backgrounds, objects, and scenes in general.
but your comics are always inspiring, so keep doing what you're doing!! You're an inspiration to me and a ton of people!! ^_^
