If you want to throw the hammer for your country...A comic for danguy96, containing his versions of the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory characters (it should be pointed out that in his version, Miranda Piker is a relative of the late great Trunchbull). I love his characters and am excited to see more of his retelling! This one mostly focuses on my imagined interaction between Miranda Mary Piker and Augustus Gloop, the titular "unstoppable force" and "immovable object." I have to admit, I kind of consider Augustus my "pet" character in general, but I've overinterpreted him so many times that I haven't got much sympathy for him left - at kindest, he's the passive consumer, so he's an easy fall-guy for humiliation. But they're all terrible in their own ways, and isn't that really the lesson Dahl wanted us to take from his story?

Sorry for the late response, but thank you for the comic, and it's always nice to see other people take a crack at drawing the designs hawhawhaw24 and I came up with. Very good job!
I also love the reactions of Violet, Marvin, Veruca, and Mike (I hope you don't mind me saying this, but I think Marvin's face just screams "I think I peed myself a little").

Maybe it's just fun to draw non-standard body types, but I think it's also interesting (since he's gone so quickly) that Augustus is the character that the Oompa Loompas (and probably Dahl) have the most contempt for. His song is just so full of delightfully nasty insults, moreso, I think, than all the others!
