Description I'll still getting my technique for that poster. These are four devonian placoderms of which the tail and fin anatomy is known. I like Mcnamaraspis the best, as it lived in a reef environment and was similar to predatory lobe finned fish at the time. Coccosteus is a freshwater genus, Dunkleosteus was a open water hypercarnivore, and Holonema seeps to have been an odd bottom feeder. Placodems of the Traverse Group here in Michigan may have been most similar to Mcnamaraspis.
