Talk about nailing it - great DOF, lighting, colors. I like the angle, though the little part of his foot at the top cut off is a little distracting. Do you know what kind of spider this is? I used to know but the name escapes me at the moment...Β

the spider's name is written in the title, this is a signature spider, named due to their signature web that they build around the center

AH - I'd only heard them called Argiope spiders. Signature is much easier to remember.Β

very beautiful spider and the spider web looks good.
It is not so easy to photograph it as it is sharp and can be seen.

But it would have been better if you had it photographed in a vertical format.
So it would better accentuate, and the leg would not be cut off.

thanks for your critique Β ... and i have tried the shot with vertical format but the expanse of this beautiful spider was too much for that framing and required effect Β but i have another vertical image but the web doesn't appears to good in itΒ
