As promised, here is the drawing process of the value practice 3.

Something I learnt:

Before this I kind of always thought that you have to be able to clearly distinguish every little detail of the drawing. Which I think was a huge misconception on my part.

If you make everything clearly distinguishable by giving it a high value contrast, it means that the image will be less readable because essentially every part of it screams “look at me I’m important” (Plus I don’t think there are enough values to even do this.)
