Description
This is a sculpt of Link from twilight princess. He stands at 6 inches tall and is made of super sculpey. For reference I used this pic . This is my second sculpt and I'm very happy with it. It took me upwards of 60 hours! The priming job on the other hand is terrible. I'm really disappointed with how that part came out. I ranted about it on another post so if you're interested you can read about it here .Hopefully I will get a better camera and can take some better pics soon. I'm really excited to try painting it. I hope you like it!

Actually, that reminds me. Do you prime your sculptures or just paint them straight up?

hey found your message.
ya i prime it with a black spray...you could use white but only if you using colours that are really bright and want them to have...well an animated look but if you want dark figures like mine well i use a black spray...now i dont work for the warhammer shops beleive me but their stuff is actually the best, they sell black sprays that are just the best really if you use cheaper sprays your model can become sticky even after you put the paint on it...you could touch it and your fingers remove the paint...from experiance its not worth it...ITS NOT WORTH IT
but using that spray plus the citadel paints which come in 3 different order such as (spray primer) then primer paint then use the other colours for the highlights once dry use the washes to get a 3d effect..they simply are the best.
please let me know how you got on dude and if you have any questions just right me and ill explain in furter detail.

Thanks so much man. It took a really really long time. I just wish the primer came out better. Anyway maybe the citadel paints will help clean it up.

Oh my god, that would be amazing. It was hard to get it this good and I still think I lost a lot of the details in these pics.
