My color over a piece of art by the wonderful Moonbay (who does not have a dA account, alas!), which portrays a version of Megabyte who's been overwitten by User code in an attempt to purge Mainframe of its viruses.The whole time I was working on this, I had the song "Poison" by Alice Cooper running through my head, because Bob is... well, let's just say this new development throws him for a very lusty loop.

*bows* Thank you! Moonbay did such an excellent job with the base sketch that it was dead easy to lay beautiful color on it.
(And for the record, Bob feels much the same way about those shoulders and that neck. Unf.)

He IS a gorgeous beast, isn't he? In the "Overwrite" universe, Bob took one good look at him and went into a barely controlled tailspin. (So would I, quite frankly... unf!)

How'd he feel about that? I know in season 4 he was really pissed about the concept of being disinfected. Was Bob enough to sway him? Do Megs and Hex get in blue, shiny, tugs of war?

Well, as the fics reveal so far, it was User code (literally descending from the sky) that overwrote him, and to say it was a shock would be a tremendous understatement. However, all his new physical parts seem to be in working order and his mind seems to have survived the experience intact, so he's managed to hit the ground running even though he's far from pleased with the curse that's been visited upon him.
He has to admit, however, that discovering the pleasures of seduction and sex with Bob is a tremendous compensation.
(As for Hex, she was also overwritten, but has remained profoundly emotionally and mentally unstable. Under the circumstances it doesn't take long for the fact to come out that Megabyte is her sibling, and yes, she's still fixated on Bob, although now he feels only a great deal of pity for her. I suspect she's locked down in a hospital unit somewhere as doctors try to figure out how to get her functioning on an even keel.)
