Finally a lovely photo of Anna's hummingbird! This year seems to be good. About three hummers one male and two females flying around. of course, it's always when I don't have my camera that's when they decide to show up!Related content

Haha yep! The trick I use is the sports mode it lets you shoot multiple photos. And of course the sassier and bolder the hummingbird makes it easier.

My family has struggled for years to get good shots of hummingbirds. We've managed to get a few, but not with the precision of this shot. Whereabouts do you live, btw? Where I am hummingbirds are a twice-a-year occurrence, sadly.

Aww that's a bummer about the lack of hummingbirds. I live in the south bay of San Francisco, California. It takes patience, a good camera and possible the more curious the hummingbird the better!!!
