HA! I was thinking Dali. I love it. Strange as it is, it still works- it's believable.

I love the concept, but then again I'm very fond of tortoises. Somehow I feel like the composition could have been a little more dynamic and lively.

Great work, and a fantastic concept. I'd love to read a story set in that kind of a world. Reminds me of a surrealistic Dark Tower thing.
Love it. Got no major critique for it. Better than anything I could do.

Indeed this reminds me very much of some of Dali's works. I remember cery well that my former art teacher used to refer to those creatures as 'elephants with spider-legs'.
Anyway; very nice job; intriguing.

Ya know what hurts? That good piece of work like this is only seen by a handful of people and doesn't get the attention it deserves and neither does the artist while a simple doodle gets straight to the front page and into the populars, way to go DA. Meh. =/ Anyways, great work. I especially like the sky on this.
