i love it looks so quite and yet so powerful at the same time. the soldier with the armed grenade charging the beast. no matter what the he knows it will be a fight that will be talked for years to come.

Very cool piece. I love the creature's look as well as the soldiers. But to me it needs more carnage.
If you happen to ever make a sequel to this piece, or if you make one similar. Be sure to add some debris, blood stains, dirt, dust, everything A giant man eating worm leaves behind.

Back in 2006. I've had work stolen before, it seems to be happening to artists more and more often these days...

Yeah, I've seen numerous cases of it. Although, this was a relatively high-profile person, who had many similar artworks, even with the same characters in them. Including yours.

A pretty damn epic scenario. Great message too.
I like the lighting too. Really sets the mood of the piece.

for me it looks more like courage is framing ideal. if you do not stand alone, you can do anything with the right people behind you.

Thats SO COOL it reminds me of the scene in Starship Troopers when the main character blew a hole in the side of a giant bug and threw a grenade inside xD

They can take him down, we've seen it done many times before...just on movies.
Also, you did a great job with the murky sewer-like atmosphere.
