I love the colors and the green apple is a nice touch. The eyes of the snake are really awsome looking and I love how one I see looks like its swimming around. The tongue is awsome. I kinda want to touch it. lol
The background, i'm guessing forest, is briliant and I love how it adds a texture even though your focused on the two, you still see it.
Over all, I love^^

This is a very lovely example of your skils as a fantasy artist and how you exhibit a love for the large monsters. The overall appearance of this design is good, mainly with how you've explored and presented the amazing array of details and techincal effects implemented. The overall design of the characters is good, but of course the real show stealer is the large monster itself. The various effects: Slim, skin and silouted light source have all been presented to an amazing level and it has really demonstrated to many just how talented you really are.
While overall this design has certainly shown a gift for digital art, the design of the monster does feel a tad weak. Mostly with the way yo'uve presented the creature from the side and perhaps it would have more energy if it were shown at a slight angle to give it a more life like feel and 3D aspect.
