I actually thought the tail scene was kinda fun. It's not that often we see Splinter use his tail, especially in combat.

Ya, but is his tail grows in that scene and I would call him being able to lift the Turtles with it, but if the Turtles can kick shipping crates across the yard in that movie then I guess Splinter's tail can lift the Turtles.
