Another commision for and his O'C Rex. It's anthro teenage half human half wolf.

Ok. So I got information about his too short pants. So it doesn't matter if it cover what need to be cover but I wouldn't want people to pay attention on that area so I corrected his outfit and made it a bit longer.

Anthro simply means that it has human traits- given that this guy has a very human build, I'd say he counts. In fact, you could totally call a human with no nohuman traits anthro; most people don't because it renders the term meaningless.

Typically people only use the word Anthro to refer to the ones all covered in fur with a muzzle and everything.
People would call this Kemonomimi.

Anthro literally means 'having human traits.' I am like 99% sure this character has human traits.

It would be more zoomorphic if he were on all fours or something. The most common way to distinguish between the two is stance- human stance= anthro, animal stance= zoo.

Ah, maybe that's the current trend. I just go by the definitions. Anthro= adding human attributes to non humans (so they probably look mostly non-human, like talking toasters), and zoomorphic adding animal traits to non-animals. So they probably look less animalistic, like the classic wolfman. In the end, this guy may very well be anthro if he started as a wolf and not "let's make a boy with wolf parts". I just never see kemonomimi described as anthro so it took me off guard. Current terminology is always hard to keep a track of.

I wouldn't call it current, so much. I know I've seen people with what seem to be minor animal traits as far back as 2003... I dunno, it's weird, but I don't think it's right to correct someone calling their humanoid character "anthro."
