It's been a while since I uploaded anything. Since I still have some commissions to do I found the old painting I did of Lieutenant (correct?) / Captain Langmar. She is NPC in game called Guild Wars. (Not guildwars2) She was less talkative
her job was to give quests and thats it. She wasn't very important character and I bet most of players don't recognize her. But anyway I liked her so since she was a bunch of pixels I decided to paint her the way I'd like her to look like. She still is very similar to the original (I hope) just probably some of her facial details might be a little bit different since I could never zoom her in enough to see her face clearly. It's a sin but I used to play GuildWars a lot. And I created a guild so we have chosen Langmar as our patron. So I made this picture for a banner. She is holding our flag in original banner which is here (you have to scroll and click the button to get in. You know.. I wanted people to read the rules before visiting the page ._. )

Nice work. Very close to the original.
Oh, and I wouldn't say, that she is not important. She play an important rule for the ebon vanguard, during the fight against the charr, the destroyers and later the against the white mantle, too.
The way she dies doesn't do justice to her character.

(Sorry, I've got to say...) OMG, a chick in actual armor, is the world coming to an end? Where's the platemail bikini and bra with armor spikes and thigh-high armored boots!?

Not sure she'd really have any presence in GW2, since GW2 supposedly takes place centuries after the first GW game and its expansions. Then again, I haven't really done a whole lot of digging into the game's lore as much as others have.
I stopped playing GW2 a while ago, though I wish I could get back to it. So far behind lol.

Captain langmar from the Ebon Vanguard stationed in the Eye of the North, part of an Ascalonian refugee corps that decided to strike the Charr homelands instead of defending the last bitter remains after the destruction of the wall.
I once had a guild named the Fiery Vanguard just because of her as an inspiration (albeit together with the entire Ebon Vanguard, those armours were epic)

Guild Wars was THE game of my High school life :3 Too bad that I don't like mmorpg's annymore though, and I didn't really like the sequel anymore. regardless, it was an epic game.
