well.... I personally think that when a women get's bulkier and bulkier.... they get so strong, they look like they switched to a mans body, they might as well have a dick, now I this isn't the case in this drawing..... both strong and female drawings, I just think there is a thing about working out too much... now this only MY opinion, I cannot stress that enough! so before anybody lashes out and tries to start an argument, try to remember that you don't NEED to give a shit!
bloedzuigerbloed, this isn't towards you, I just think I should put this out before anything happens...

It's fine man. To each their own over body types that appeal. I can see this wasn't meant as a snide comment like 'ugh, women shouldn't be that bulked up, they look too manly'. It's your personal opinion, and it's also a sense of appeal for you and was only meant over visual observation.
I get that not everyone is going to agree, but hey, I will repeat- 'to each their own'.

I don't think unisonic ment anything by it. I think he means the muscler female is slightly larger than the muscler male. For the two to be equivalents then either the female needs to be smaller or the male needs to be bigger. But really it doesn't matter, the artist might have intended this anyway.

I like that the men gets nipples and the women don't
Very beautifully done though ^^

if the woman gets nipples it's mature content. Woman don't show nipples when it's hot while men do and it's not found as mature content by society.

I wouldn't say these are examples of body types...I'd say these are examples of weight extremes. Very nicely drawn though, nonetheless.

These are absolutely gorgeous and I adore your grasp on anatomy. However, "anorexic" is not a body type.

Yeah, it's kinda like: super muscular body, super fat body, anorexic body, perfect body, then extreme anorexic body.

abrasax-industries In reply to Twerpthederp [2015-05-21 07:06:31 +0000 UTC]
There is no such thing as an "anorexic body" either. Anorexia, depending on type, is a mental health condition or a body condition; fat people can be anorexic.

Bleu-Ace In reply to abrasax-industries [2015-05-21 12:57:52 +0000 UTC]
It's an emaciated body (which I am glad this person is covering)- in which many people in the world actually live with considering malnutrition, disease, or their body just doesn't hold onto fat like others do. If you want to know how to draw someone who is obese, you also can know the opposite extreme at am emaciated state.
I'm also glad to see that you pointed it out for folks that it's not considered 'anorexic'.

Oh my god, fucking FINALLY. I've seen countless different body type compilation drawings, and not a SINGLE ONE of them had a chubby male. People are so focused on all women being beautiful (which is true, but people take the whole thing way too far), that they forget that the same thing applies to guys. Just because they don't get as emotional about it doesn't mean they don't feel it.
Honestly if this whole body positivity thing never got started, many of these compilations may not even have larger girls in them at all. But since we are all about body positivity, people would most likely go completely apeshit if a bigger girl wasn't included
Everyone forgets that body positivity applies to men also.
Nyeh, anywho, sorry for the rant. Just bringing up a point. =_= But as a girl who's attracted to chubby boys, the lack of drawings of chubby boys pisses me off a LOT.

Are you sure? Well, there you have tutorial which include "chubby males" and contains info, not just drawings so I think it's something for you, at least if I got what you meant ^^'' fav.me/d8a930n

You're welcome xD Currently I have difficulties with body type pictures too, but in my case it's "natural muscular body with some fat" which gives more soft look than those ballon-muscles usually given to big strong males. But maybe I will be able to just figure out how to draw them 8x Or I haven't searched enough

"(...)but people take the whole thing way too far" bruh, you don't have to throw one group under a bus to congratulate another. I know your message is celebrating body positivity, and I completely agree with you on most points, but there's no need to undermine chubby/fat feminine-presenting people in the process. (:

Yeah I know, I wasn't really sure how to get the point across. I didn't really mean it that way, I was just saying that to emphasize the fact that men are underrepresented.

The normal female looks skinnier(torso) than the extreme skinny female. I'll just point that out.

ixalia In reply to 15stepsdown [2015-05-21 02:01:32 +0000 UTC]
it's a 3/4 view for normal and a head-on view for the skinny one so that's most likely why.

This is cool and really helpful but why is the woman's version of slim do much more extreme than the guys? The male version is a normal healthy body type (my boyfriend has this build even though he eats pretty much constantly) but the female version is someone who is really sick or starving.. Would be helpful to see a normal, healthy thin female body type too.

Precia-T In reply to out-of-the-picture [2015-05-20 22:07:11 +0000 UTC]
The last one is normal thin, drawn with line without color.
Extreme woman, no extreme male - coincidence caused the fact that this is not full drawing.
All the rest as it's written in the description you will find in the pledge, this is just an advertisement and lack of many bodytypes.

Its not a "slim" version. She really is anorexic. Its in the description it is a little misleading, tho, so I see where you came from.
