lmao this was inspired by quite a few things, including but not limited to:

1) me seeing a len 'art' one day while looking for memes and being 'aw cute' until i realized it was ai-generated so i was like "hm i can do better than that." and then ended up somewhere completely different 😂😭 lmao. ALSO GOD YOU LOWKEY ENDED UP BEING THE THING YOU SWORE TO DESTROY b/c i had to resize w/ waifu2x again b/c I KEEP MAKING MY RECENT DRAWINGS REALLY FUCKING SMALL BY ACCIDENT? 😭😭

2) irl conversations abt slang for oranges in spanish lol. why's it in chinese? i dont really know japanese lmao 😭 and to be fair 我的中文不好 but i'm trying 🥹👍 we're getting there.

3) personal really depressing hcs i'm not gonna get into rn ✌️ but yeah this was actually supposed to be sadder/slightly more disturbing in tone? but i don't think that really came across; still on the fence abt these colors tbh i feel i oversaturated it so some of those bg details are lost 😭 but whatever idc anymore i NEEEDDD to actually do fucking assignments now i spent 2 goddamn days on this thing

sometimes i'm like "i need to stop putting unhinged shit in my descs" but then again idk how many people actually read them so? idk if it matters in the end how unhinged i am/am not in these

walking that thin tightrope line between "actually yk what this fucks this is one of the best things ive drawn ever it slays how'd i do that" and "this is hot fucking garbage good lord. get rid of it why'd you waste so much time on it quit art rn" just like my mental health tbh
