Description
This is the followup to Cold. This was actually the one I was working on prior to making Cold. I had been working on this image on and off for a couple of weeks, contstantly adding tiny details and subtle images.There is a total of 6 original photographs used in this piece, and a lot of freehand drawing as well, all the squiggly lines were drawn by hand using my WACOM tablet.
I wanted to thank everyone for the comments given on my last deviation, and thanks in advance for any comments/critiques giving on this one. I deeply appreciate them all.

It's good to see one of my favorite artist posting thier work on other sites. Pops right up on my artist watch (which was a great idea to who ever thoght of it.) and adds to the semtiment of comunity.
Precurser, this one come out great. It's a haunting peice. That unshethed eye is peircing. The skull itself has an errie balance of life and death. The lines add to the atmosphere of the work, and draw attention back to that that errie eye.

this is the shiznit i was talking about (in my comment left on "cold")--this one feels much more in line with the title; I think someone said on "cold" that the title didn't feel right, but THIS one *is* cold. Ice Cold...
it is difficult to move away from this one. I mean, i like to rotate my walls so they don't get stale, but this one is so FRESH. I don't see it getting stale anytime soon.
Awesome work precurser. Even though that is an overused word, it really does inspire Awe.

I really like this, but the thing is I'm not going to use it because I run in 1280x1024, and I don't want to ruin it by resizing it. That is why I don't like walls made at 1600 - if a wall is too small, you can put a border around it or enlarge it, usually without too much loss of quality - I've come across a lot of walls that look good with a border. But if a wall is too big, there's not usually much you can do about it.

It looks quite complete. Nice lines and some more detail. I can't say it's all that original because I sort of feel the whole skull thing has been here and well you know--done that.
Either way it's much better over the other one. Good work.

I've become fond of using the original "Cold" piece on my desktop, but I may have to switch over to this one. I prefer the right side allocation of the skull and other images. The colorization is a bit more dramatic as well; the plain black got old fast. Nice work once again. Thank you for supporting 16x12'ers.

VERY nice... the whole thing has a very ghostly eerie feel to it... and I love the freehand stuff it really adds to the effect, not too crowded and plenty of room for icons... hmmm, I have to say this is one of my favourites of yours for sure
