Description
Hi everyone! So I'm eleven weeks and one day into my surrogacy today with twins. I'm still nauseous at random times and I actually threw up a few days ago, but lately it seems like it's been going a down little bit and I hope that's a sign it's going away. My doctor said it's usually the worst in the first trimester because of all the new hormones, but usually it'll goes down a little bit as women progress and our bodies get in tune. Unfortunately I've started to crave junk food and normally I am not a junk food person. I was driving past a taco bell on my way home from work and normally I can't stand the smell of that place, but now I'm like "OMG that smells amazing". I feel like I need to force-feed myself healthy stuff like fruits and vegetables because even if I eat a full serving they just don't fill me up and I'm hungry again an hour later.
Did you know there's a twin pregnancy specialist? I got introduced to mine today and she was really nice. I mean I knew twins could be higher risk than a singleton but it didn't click that there would be a specialist for them, I guess I can blame pregnancy brain for that! She definitely put my mind at ease with all the specialized questions that my other OB couldn't answer in detail, I really like her. Also um... she wanted to talk about my birth plans... was NOT expecting that on the first visit. I hadn't seriously thought that far ahead since I'm still first trimester. We talked about birth options and if I had a preference for vaginal or c-section and I'm pretty firm set on a medicated vaginal birth. She did some pelvis measurements during my ultrasound and said that I'm 100% perfectly capable of doing it and I'll only need a c-section if there's an emergency. I don't wanna bore you with all the stuff we talked about, but she put my mind at ease and it was amazing <3
My belly button is almost completely popped out and sometimes it pops out at night depending on how I lay down. I swear that I'm feeling some kind of movement really low down in my belly like where the bottom of your zipper would be on pants. It's usually at night time and when I lie on my back, it's not like full-on kicking obviously but just be like a little flutter here and there, probably because on my back my womb is resting on top of my organs? I'm still not 100% convinced that it's the babies that I'm feeling because I'm so early on, but since it's starting to get consistent I'm not sure what else it could be aside from gas. My belly button doesn't look too popped right now but it might just if I hiccup or something. I'm thirty four and three/fourths inches this week, but might as well be thirty five since I haven't eaten dinner yet.
Comment with any questions you have and I'll answer some, though keep it PG ok?
