Bridgett was nearing somewhat toward the end of her second trimester of pregnancy though the timing was a formality, really, and it all depended on how much time the pup in her tummy decided to take. It seemed to be making efficient time, however, as Bridget's belly had swollen and grown to create a natural curve from her sternum all the way down to the front of her hipbones. The light grey fur of her stomach had grown out along with her belly, thinned just enough to see a little hint of pink from the skin underneath. The bump itself was shaped roughly like an egg, with the larger bottom settled down into her hips where the pup rested while the rest tapered off up into her sternum. Her belly button had been popped and flattened by the pressure of the pup growing inside, smoothing out her stomach into a nearly round surface covered in healthy, glowing fur. Bridgett felt the pup began to wake from its nap and fidget uncomfortably inside her, its little paws suddenly kicking upwards and causing her to hiccup. She smiled, lifting her sweatshirt to watch its movements. Her belly briefly distending as the pup attempted to turn over, but finding its living space too cramped frustratedly resumed its head-down position.
