Teyaka again, this time nearing the end of her labor and starting to push out her first of 5 pups.

Interesting species Teyakans are, gestation is about a year, maybe a bit more. Average litter size is two to four(she's carrying five, poor girl). Another interesting detail is their weight. Teyakan birth weight is around twenty-five pounds. That's why the pregnant females always looks so exhausted. Adults weigh about four-hundred pounds. SUPER-dense bone and muscle tissue, like taking a horse and pressing them down to mastiff(large dog) size. Imagine carrying around a litter that's about a third of your body weight and giving birth to 5 - 25 pound babys!
