Back pain wasn't anything new to Wolf, it had been an unwelcome acquaintance for the majority of her pregnancy, and her pups hybrid bulkiness didn't do her any favor either. Wolf winced as the dull ache in her lower back began to contort itself into a painful knot. The cramp slowly spread across her distended belly, tightening and pushing its passenger downwards slightly. Wolf pressed her hands against her belly and lower back, as if that might in some way relieve the pain and pressure building inside her. The pup seemed strangely calm considering the 'hug' her womb was giving it, Wolf wondered if they knew what was going on or were just sleeping through it. As the contraction reached its peak Wolf felt the pressure inside her gathering between her legs, but still somehow deep inside, no doubt the pups head 'knocking on the door'. Wolf tried to relax, enough of her body was tense without her contributing to it... and —slowly— the contraction passed, the knot in her back reverting back into a dull ache and her belly resuming its soft, but strained consistency. It was clear to Wolf that she was in the early stages of labor and ready or not her pups arrival was fast approaching...
