Just moved this week and havent had access to my computer for the past week.... I had to get my digital art fix yesterday so this is one of two Kong speed paintings I squeezed out yesterday .I added two different lightsources to this illustration...Dont know why I did that, but I figured it would add to the mood of the painting.

it's like kong is saying "BOO!" but then has to kill the dinosaur...funny, yet gruesome...

The roughness of Kong's fur really helps give a sense of action and drama, and the purplish tint brings the attention squarely to him: great work!

looks almost like a volcano or something in the background, with the moonlight shining off kong's shoulders in the foreground,,, i am diggin it man!

I think that additional lighting also adds a dramatic touch. Kind of like both figures are in a spot light, the viewer wondering which will come out victorious (which we all know will be Kong anyway
