All of your work is amazing! I love the use of highlights and the wonderful contrast in the eyes. Great composition too. However I think the most impresive part is your form it is truely impressive!

reminds me of a troll warcraft character. i think we get our ideas from what we have seen so thats my guess at where you might have gotten some influence for this character. again i like your paintings, inspiring

rofl @ that convo up there
I dig this mucho, the spiral really does it for me, I know it's used in so many pieces of work, perhaps that's why people are drawn to it, sort of a connectivity thing. Who knows.

All art must praise God's creation, another words it must be beautiful and Spirit RAISING.
(Look at old masters)
It is well rendered but I don't see any point in this except an artist showing his inner-self.
It would be a lot more interesting if you placed that figure in composition that had some psychological meaning. You could create a contrast between this scary figure and something opposite, like a little boy in white shirt. Have them interacting in some way, then both figures will underscore each others characteristics.
Then its 5/5, but now 2/5.

Thanks for the comments RUshN.
However it seems we are two different types of artists.
You seem to be more into "fine" art, which is created to display a visual and deeper meaning, and Im into "Concept" art.
My profession is commercial, and involves mainly concept designs (characters, environments, sets, props, vehicles, etc.) for films, videos, commercials, television, games etc.....No place for phsychological deep meanings in this kind of art.
(Check out books like "The Art of Star Wars", "The Art of LOTR", "The Art of The World Of WarCraft" and you'll see the type of stuff Im into)
When I created this piece it was an excersise character design , and wasn't meant to have a phychological deeper meaning.
Between jobs I like to keep in practice by creating characters, environments, props, vehicles for fictional film or gaming projects.
I find that it keeps me in practice for furure jobs.

Dude there is no different types of artists, exept only two types the ones that know what they are doing and the ones that don't.
Even Modern artists learn traditional painting and art history before they create and selfexpress. Same shit with people who do concept art.
People who did art for movies had a specific task, forexampleclothes details or envirment setting). Now about your image you wrote something like this "I Dont really know what made me come up with this" Well shit dude, if you are this super artists who works for a company then why you wrote that, instead of "Between jobs I like to keep in practice by creating characters"? Other wise I'm right in what I wrote to you before and you have no reason to get deffencive.
Dude there is no different types of artists
Im glad you said that...It just confirms that you don't know what you're talking about.
And there ARE different types of artists and not all of them learn traditional painting and history.
There are sculptors, abstract artist, expressionists, conceptual artists, musicians, actors, etc.
That's probably one of the most ignorant things I have ever heard.
Well shit dude, if you are this super artists who works for a company then why you wrote that,
who I work for doesn't have anything to do with this iillustrations...
Other wise I'm right in what I wrote
Actually you're wrong....But keep believing that
and you have no reason to get deffencive.
Im wasn't being defensive, I was replying to your comment. And I was the one who began using profanity either.
If I were being defensive I would have told you that after looking at your gallery I would say you need about 10 years worth of work on your anatomy before you start giving people art advice.

Great work as per usual.
