Rite of Fortitude.

The three young tokota roamed the wilds of Tokotna together, knowing their goal of three and a half hundred miles. When Spice had learned of this distance, she'd felt nothing but excitement, though she was slightly wary of going on the expedition with tokotas she had not known before. From what she understood, the two of them were both friendly and excitable, just like herself. She felt that she had the sneakiest streak out of the three of them, something she played around with on their trek. Nothing too serious, nothing enough to make either Rin or Daryl annoyed by her, but just enough to not be wholly bored on the trip. Rin, the shyer of the two males, warmed up to the others after a couple of days of wandering through the wilderness. One evening, after a long roam through the wilds, they came across a stream with its own small waterfall. Spice decided then and there that it was time to stop for the night and refused to change her mind. The stubborn girl wouldn't be budged even when Rin pawed at her. He placed a paw on her, pressing against her haunch with that pale blue paw (something Spice found rather pretty, if one were to ask her, though she'd never admit it when under the eyes of Daryl, who watched curiously, knowing already what she had planned.) Swiftly, she turned, taking his paw gently in her mouth, and shoved downward and forward so that his foreleg locked in an outstretched position and pushed his body back. As he'd been standing on his hind paws, he was caught off balance and fell backwards into the pool. Grinning, Spice jumped down into the water after him and placed a paw on his chest, tail wagging behind her. She was so caught up in her casual victory that she didn't realize the Barbary was coming up behind her, until, that is, she was already in the water beside Rin, icy water splashing around her. The three laughed in that doggy way and played in the stream until all three were tired enough to dry off and retire for the night.
