In japanese version her name is Tina but in English version it is changed to Terra. (^^)

Yeah, I read that Woosley, the American translator for this game and Chrono Trigger as well, gave her this name to make it feel more exotic. Plus there was a billboard right outside where he worked that had the name Terra on it.

Really nice. I always proffered Terra over Tina for names in her. I'm thinking its because of Tina Turner. Terra sounds softer and sullen like her character. Tina sounded like the name of an over excited singer. I bet that's not the impression in Thailand.
