The colours you used and the pose are both great. I like the nonchalant air about him - you get a real sense of his personality. Great job!
If I had one critique, it would be that the dragon patter n in the background doesn't really match the rest of the image - it has a hard outline, whereas the rest of the picture overall has soft edges. That's if I'm being really picky, though.

it's no big deal, specially if you had no reference for this. it's a great work and hardly noticeable. I have problems drawing some angles of the foot as well with no reference. it's still awesome. ^__^

I don't know why but this kind of reminds me of a painting called the death of young Chatterton or something like that by Henry Wallis. must be the colours or something because the subjects are totally different!
