Description
Being inspired by witchpaws 's specie guide, I was determined to start making one for some of my closed specie as well
So I started with my fave specie, the leafypease

Leafypeas are closed species, hence, you cannot make your own, you can only acquire them from either me, PrePAWSterous or from

Some infos:

Leafypeas(sing. Leafypea) got their name from their peacock-like leafy tails. They are commonly flightless griffin that have short feet and a neck that can stretch as long as half of their body size. Females tend to be very timid while the males are territorial. MAle's tend to fight with each other with all their strength in order to claim the mate they want.

Diet:

They mostly eat fruits and leaves. But in some occasions, they also nibble on worms they dug out

Habitat:

They live in tropical forests

Life cycle:

Leafypeas are born out of eggs that are known to have a flower growing on it. These flower is known to be there in order for the baby inside to eat while it's incapable of feeding itself. When hatched into a leaflets(baby leafypeas)their mother always stay beside them while the father gathers food for the family to eat on. Most leaflets have one leaf as a tail and this tends to multiply until it reaches it's adult stage.

Leafypeas made through pollination with the pollen on their antennae(but they could also do the "natural" way 8D) Leaflets don't have an pollen antennae yet because they are still unable to reproduce during this stage(idea by Storm-Kitt )

Leafypeas tends to stay on their herd and multiply.

Migration:

When winter strikes, Leafypeas tends to migrate from one forest to another, they cannot withstand cold temperature. If there'll be occassions that they were unable to migrate, they pile up leaves in sleep inside it to keep them warm

Rare Leafypeas: (these are only obtain through customs)

Aerial- These are leafypeas that have the ability to fly due to having wings.(it could be any kind of wings)

Florilis-These are leafypeas that have a unique flower(not the common peasais growing on them(eg. sunflower, rose)

Leafilis-These are leafypeas that have a different shape of leaves(eg. maple, heartshape, diamondshape)

Shifters(got the idea from twineapples -Some leafypeas have the ability to transform into a bird.

Mix Breeds:

Some leafypeas mate with another specie, thus, making a new breed of leafypeas

These are only acquire through customs, or a special commission to me. I might also make a breedable leafypea to be able to breed with your oc for a certain price.
