I could see that. But I got inspiration from the Steamboat Willie scene in Saving Private Ryan.

I watched both films.
Needless to say Miller's platoon is more disciplined than Collier's when it comes to following the Geneva Convention.
The same logic applies to the Navy attacking an unarmed hospital or civilian ship. It's an extremely violent and punishable offense.
I've heard of Somali Pirates raiding unarmed ships to steal its cargo, whether it be fuel, medicine, or anything sold on the black market. If you remember Tom Hanks as Captain Miller in Saving Private Ryan, surely you remember his role as Captain Richard in another film.
