Description
This is a monarch butterfly emerging from its chrysalis.Probably the coolest thing I saw today.
It looked like a squished up butterfly. I suppose it kind of was.
Featured here: Die Ghul Show with PRETTYFLOUR!:icondasghul:: Welcome to my humble show, :iconprettyflour:!
Do you enjoy being here?
:iconprettyflour:: I sure do. I'm very happy to be a part of your Ghulish show.
:icondasghul:: It's mostly because you like its HUMBLE HOST, right?
:iconprettyflour:: Well, yeah. What's not to like?
:icondasghul:: My noble audience and my humble self would like to know YOUR answer to this!
So just to get this interview started, please elaborate on a random something you actually do HATE!
:iconprettyflour:: A random something I hate? Hmmmm…. I do hate my day job. I have aspirations (and vivid fantasies) of never seeing another cubicle in my lifetime and making a living creating art.
:icondasghul:: What is your day job, and why is it holding you hostage?
Also, if you could make a living creating art, just which of your works would you claim to be suited best for that cause and why?
:iconprettyflour:: I am an office manager, at a call center. The job itself isn't the worst thing

Aw, this picture emits sadness to me for some reason. Because it kind of looks like its burning up and shriveling due to the bokeh in the background Sorry I just made this dark

I can see the sadness in it too. It looks death and birth.

I have raised monarchs before but I am not sure I ever saw them actually come out of the chrysalis! Haha. Ya just come into the room and there they are! Watching them make the chrysalis was one of the most disgusting things i have ever seen though
Had to watch their skin peel off pretty much D: Lol.

Thank you you the lovely comment.
It was really quite a site to see- it was beautiful. I've always known that butterflies hatch from a chrysalis, but seeing it was so very cool. I'll never forget it and I will be forever grateful that I had my camera with me!

ha ha! I know, right? It was a really cool thing to watch, better than all the butterflies that were flying around!

I've never seen one at that exact moment. I've seen one before and a bit after and of course, tons of butterflies flying around, but this is a very incredible moment and a very incredible picture!

It was the first time I have every seen that. I almost missed it actually...
I saw something out of the corner of my eye and then moved in for a closer look. Then I was like... Wow... that is really cool! and I must say... my picture doesn't do it justice. It was really amazing to watch as the butterfly literally came to life in front of my eyes.
