I like the concept of the show, but the way the video is made puts me off. I did enjoy it though.

I really love everything about it. It takes a large scale animation crew and a large production budget to do traditional Japanese-style anime animaiton. Roosterteeth created an anime that became a viral hit the world over using 3D animation software and a little creativity. The end result at the beginning was a bit rough and unpolished, but they've really improved over the years and gained attention to detail. Β I really love what they've done because it is so new. The only over "anime" I've seen use this technique is Knights of Cydonia, and of course it is done in a very different way since KoC has a much bigger production budget and a bigger crew.Β
In general I'm really inspired by RWBY and the animators who make it. It shows that you don't need a huge budget or a big animation crew to start an amazing show.

I think the most plausible theories would be the Resurrection theory, the destiny theory, or the Grimm theory.
The Resurrection theory is that All of JNPR will die like their corresponding characters in fiction, but then get resurrected by Salem or Ozpin. It also fits with their corresponding characters in Journey to the west.
I think the destiny theory is true regardless. This theory being that Pyrrha was always meant to be the fall maiden and will still have an effect, even in death. Or as some believe, in life. This is probably the broadest and most plausible as it hinges on her last words which are "do you believe in destiny?" I think its really odd for RT to put that in as a throwaway line, especially since Pyrrha was questioning her destiny leading up to her death.Β
The grimm theory is basically that 1) Emerald used her Illusion powers to make it look like Pyrrha died and actually just took her to Salem, or 2) Cinder's flame powers somehow have teleportation properties and when she was incinerated she was actually being disassembled and reassembled. From there Salem would grimmify her and use her somehow (if you're current with volume 4, I believe something like this might be happening to Cinder right now actually. If you take what Salem said from chapter 2 literally, Cinder is wearing a sleeve on one arm for a reason.Β

Well to be honest the resurrection theory i think is plausible unless its just only Pyrrah in which Ozpin could be trying to find a way right now to resurrect her. and truthfully i dont know besides Achilles with Pyrrah what the others are in JNPR
The Destiny thing always threw me for a loop, i never knew what she meant by that, i always felt like those word rung with Cinder, and when Ruby got to the top i felt like Cinder made Pyrrah a decoy to try and get Pyrrah away so that she can fool Salem, cause i think Ozpin is alive cause Cinder let him live, and shes like a double agent
The grimm theory might work but in a way i dont think so cause i feel like that would just torment Jaune more if he had to kill her himself

The characters for the all the members in JNPR are Jaune (Joan of Arc), Nora (Thor), Pyrrha (Achillies), Ren (Hau Mulan)Β
They were coined "the crossdresser team" because they are the gender each of the mythical characters crossdressed as.Β
I highly doubt Cinder has any mercy for Ozpin. She treated him like rubbish when they fought, and they had clearly never met before. Since Ozpin is now inside/a part of Oscar (???) It's possible that his physical body actually did die, and now he just drifted to another soul. A lot of people think that Ozpin is the same guy as the Wizard from the seasonal maidens WOR. It would make sense since hes inspired by the Wizard of Oz. Ozpin would be, well, Oz, and Salem would be the wicked witch of the west. Either way I'd bed that the reason he survived was his magic and not Cinder.Β
I wouldn't mind the Grimm theory if it meant Pyrrha surviving at the end, or at the very least achieving her "destiny." I just don't want her to remain in the worthless death she's currently in. Thats the main reason why I think the RT team will do something more with her. In the end her death didn't accomplish anything, and Pyrrha wasn't dumb. She knew she wasn't coming out of that fight with Cinder alive. The "kiss of death" is a common trope in tv. She knew she was going to die.Β
The other weird theory I've seen is that Pyrrha is part of Ruby now, or that shes trying to speak to Jaune through Ruby. In a similar way to Ozpin being part of Oscar. In episode 2 of volume 4 Ruby was dreaming about what happened to Pyrrha. Later it happens again and it's Pyrrha's voice on a recording. However, the first time it wasn't. It was Pyrrha saying "do you believe in destiny" to which Cinder replies, "yes." The second thing she says is "Jaune.
Β Ruby wouldn't have witnessed either conversation, which is what makes people think something is up. RT definitely wouldn't pick up something like that without it meaning something. Animation is very intentional.Β

hmmm that last theory you had, why does it make me think of the book that Blake was reading in the first season, the one with a man with two souls each trying to fight to control the body. but instead of that its like...idk in a way Ruby is being helped by Pyrrah?? maybe even leading her towards something bigger then what shes thinking it is and its really kicking in with Juane and Nora and Rin around?

The book is pretty much confirmed to be foreshadowing for the Oscar/Ozpin situation, whether it's foreshadowing for Ruby and Pyrrha too, I don't know.Β

I doubt it as Yang and Blake don't share a body fighting over their respective personalities.Β
I do like the Yin/Yang symbolism of their characters though.
There's also some cool symbolism between Sun and Blake, as the "Yang" is masculine and represents the Sun, and Blake represents shadows and darkness, and Yin is feminine and represents the moon.
There's also some symbolism between Yang and Adam people have pointed out, which is also really cool. Adam has a lot of dark/night/and even moon themes. Though in this case with reverse genders, another theme explored with JNPR.Β
There are a ton of double meanings with the symbolism and lore in RWBY and it's really cool :3

The final moments were serious punches to the gut, I was trying to hold my tears in as I watched it. Β I was even reading through TV Tropes' page on RWBY and found that Jaune's training mirrors with a character in Red vs. Blue.

The forest scene⦠Wow! I must say, RT did a very good job with this one. This is probably the best scene in the whole show so far. They nailed it perfectly. The scenery is beautiful with the light, and the sad music. So Jen did get to voice cast Pyrrha for volume 4 as well. I wonder if we will hear her again. I'm sure Jaune and Ruby are going to have a emotional and comforting talk.
I got worried in the first episode that Jaune seems to be doing too well. But now I clearly saw that even after 6-8 months, he has not fully gotten over Pyrrhaβs death. Heβs trying to move on and become stronger. Heβs not crying anymore, but he is still mourning her deeply. I donβt think he listens to the video for the instructions, but because he wants to see her and hear her voice. It is even more touching how Pyrrha tries to confess to Jaune about her feelings, but instead only says how happy she is to be part of his life. She is now, even after her death. He must be torn with guilt over not noticing her feelings earlier.

Now, about your picture, I like it. It gives me feels, and that's a good thing. Because if an artist or writer can create feelings and emotions within a reader or viewer, it means they have done a good job. It's still a happy and painful scene to watch Pyrrha kiss Jaune. I look forward to see you draw more Pyrrha in the future.
