Now that its summer and I'm somewhat freeish I'm beginning work on The Operative Comic's revamp.
I'll be writing the first chapter soon, working on new character designs and ideas, conceptual art for the city/surroundings/ reusable detailed backgrounds for the comic/ determining the style/ working on anatomy and action sketches to be able to throw a lot of fighting into the comic.
I'm also studying some superhero comic tips to be able to write a perfect story.
I'll also be working heavily on character personality development.

But anyway, yeah, here is a first page of concepts featuring Scarlet. I sketched this out real quick this morning. I'm pretty pleased with this design. In the end I really went toward realistic, which is what I'll probably go for in the comic style too, but greatly simplified.

I still need to work out gear and style and all that good stuff too, I'll probably begin work on her coloration next and spit out a few concepts. Her current design is pretty simple, but the colors are a bit too intense. I want the comic style to be rather neon/saturated/intense but I also want the breeds to be fairly realistic and stuff.

Working on a lot of stuff :3

Hopefully I can resume the comic within this year. Things are really hectic but this is on my list ^ ^
