Octavia and Vinyl are normally place together, or pretty much always. Why? I don't know. All I know is that they are paired, probably because they both play music.

Search out the "Vinyl Scratch Tapes" on Youtube. It might not have been the first Vinyl/Octavia creation, but it's the one that made them as near official as anything pony can be without Hasbro's blessing.
(And don't worry, it's reasonably clean stuff)

This is an excellent picture. It's a good take on what a pony would look like on the daily commute.
I like the attention to detail and even the detail itself, especially around Vinyl's face. It's also nice to see somepony who is not Lyra standing upright for a change.

I find it very funny in the sense that I can relate to this piece so much! I just love the way that your artistic skill is so refined that one can connect with the piece and have an experience! I love the character design and the way that you crafted vinyl really accents her character and retains her essence extremely well! I also love the amazing lighting and shading that you incorperated here! It adds so much depth to this piece and I also love the way that it works in perfect harmony with the vivid and brilliant color work! The colors are so deep and bold, adding a lush touvh to the entire piece which just fills it with flowing life. Finally, I really appreciate the fact that you somewhat used a blur effect to single her out as the main attraction of this piece which adds to the emotional depth and kinda gives testament to who she is and what she may be thinking!
