Description
Aitherio or Aitherogender: An ethereal, otherworldly gender that did not originate from this world, making it nearly impossible to define using words from within your own culture. Can be shorted to “aitherio” or “aith” in sentences for convenience.
Examples:
- “The young aith looked up at her in surprise, stiffening slightly as they met her eyes.”
- “He was an aitherio, long hair neatly done up in a long braid that had beads and bells woven tightly into the strands.”
- “People who identify as aitherogender exist outside of the human concepts of gender, their genders originating from beyond this world.”
Intended for: Kin or neurodivergent usage (especially those who feel a disconnect from reality), able to be used by anyone.
Origin: Sourced from the Greek word αιθέριος (aithérios), translating into English as ethereal.

Why do you always butcher Greek pronunciation in this way? As someone who adores the Greek language and culture it makes me sad. "Αιθεριος" is literally pronounced (ethereeohs), just like the beginning of the English word "ethereal", yet you think this is the most clever shit ever.
