my hologram contest entry for new year contest.
My alien is based on a Greek mythical being called Antaeus [link] who is the son of Gaia (Mother Earth) & Poseidon (God of the Sea)

Name: Geocean (Geo + Ocean)
Species: Coastalossus (Coastal + Colossus)
Planet: Marerras (Mare is latin for sea) (Terra is latin for Land)
Merarras is somewhat a complicated planet to describe, sometimes it can be peaceful but the other times can be darn right harsh. The planet itself is made up of land & sea and its relationship between the to powerful natures can be an on & off relationship, meaning that sometimes they are one nature combined together despite each other's nature balance off structure but sometimes they can be battling each other for supermacy of the planet and its inhabitants. The Coastalossus's are also a complicated species as their physiology is composed of both the earth & the sea itself, making them look like an 'awkward combo of nature'. Most folk of the universe think that the Coastalossus are entirely a dumb slow-wit species and that the only thing they're good at are smashing anything into bits, well thats where their entirely wrong. Its true that Coastalossus are slow, but not slow-witted, they are extremely brilliant tacticans & strategists, they are the true wise aspect of understanding about the elemental forces of the earth & sea, though they do have a talent in smashing things to bits too. The reason why Coastalossus are extremely hard, if not near impossible, to beat is because of what they are, their structure make them look like an unbalanced ironic beings that would topple at any moment, but they have perfect synchronous of their physical elemental embodiment, thus making them well adjusted on high land or deep sea.

POWERS/ABILITIES:
- Super strength
- Water manipulation
- Earth manipulation
- Uses three methods of defence & offence, first is its normal state of both earth & water, second is that he can become entirely stone earth with no water making his defence greater and lastly his 'water' can leap out of his rocky earth body and swiftly attack with powerful aquakinisis making its offence greater.
- Invulnerability if he's either standing on land or in the sea

WEAKNESSES:
- Very slow
- Destructive
- Electricity
- The only way to make him vunerable is to lift him into the air, making him lose contact to the earth or the sea
- If he becomes fully rock, he can't move at all
- if he becomes fully water, he would either dissolve or evaporate without its protective shell
