Description
"After exterminating the Malinalxochi brood in Hong Kong, albeit destroying half of the city to do so, Briarga would retreat towards the Thar desert in India to seek isolation. For he was still plagued with the anger that brewed deep within, the chasms of which could explode outward at any moment. His past trauma would not allow for a tertiary period, and while stuck on Earth he would have to find solace somehow. The isolation he craved was not given to him, however, as he came across another kaiju that already claimed the Thar as its home; Akupāra, the gigantic tortoise that rode the windy hills of sand. Briarga did not sense any evil within this being, so he paid no mind and even seperated himself further from the titanic beast. Akupāra grew more curious but still nomchalant, having not met many other kaiju that traveled this far into his domain with the exception of Chione. As the days went by, Briarga found himself sharing more territory with the Lord of Sand, and took notice of his behavior. The giant tortoise seemed to show no negative regard of his presence, perhaps even welcoming it. At times they would share eye contact, and looking upon the wizened monster did Briarga pick up the tranquil look in its eyes. Akupāra had attained the peace that he longed for, the peace he sought for so long; and finding a peaceful monster in this time was a rare find. Briarga took it upon himself to guard the giant whenever he felt it was vulnerable; not that he thought Akupāra was defenseless, but that he felt he needed to protect him. To repay his debt for being allowed to stay there, even if temporarily. Those that would threaten the tortoise, such as the deadly Cerberus, were caught off guard by the titanic saurian blocking their path..and dare not meet the Earthquake Incarnate's wrath."

Akupāra is one of my favorite of 's kaiju, wanted to draw a little something up.
