I know right? It kept kinda leading to him possibly ending up with her, but then he chose Hiromi.. I was quite saddened, it woulda been a great ending if, while singing the roach song at the end crying, he could have said "The one in my heart is... NOE!!!" and she'd run back to him without the crutches into his arms.. unfortunately, he chose wrong.
